My last attempt to breed tamolanica tamolana was a failure but this 2nd attempt was a success :D the breeding process went very well, mating was no problem at all and the male jumped on the female's back in an instant! but the only problem was the cannibalism after mating and the long wait for an ooth, they take about a month to start laying and when they do they make huge ooths! a little over 1.5 inches long and an inch wide! nymphs are lready starting to form too! only one female layed her ooth so far and i'm still waiting on the second fertile female to lay. another problem this species seems to have is that they r extremely worn out after laying their ooth, the female that layed passed away today :( i hope this ooth hatches alot! by the look of the size of the eggs id say theres about 300+ eggs in it! i sugest if any one wants this species they PM me or email me to be put on a waiting list! There are some pictures below of the breeding proccess of Tamolinca tamolana so far and some other mantis pics.
