Hi!

I'd like to have some advice from people who have had some experience with those species - you know, how to incubate ooths, what type of food at what stage do they need, and what conditions suit them best...

That was funny, thanks for the tickle,,, problem is we don't have no experience with them, so we cannot help, I am good at guessing though, if your interested. Sorry thats the best I can do!

My limited experience is with Yersiniops sophonica. It is from the hot parts of the southwest US. So conditions are warm and dry-ish. Say 90F+, 32C+, and mist every other day or so. They are a ground dweller, so your tank/cage needs to provide ample floor space. They are very aggressive feeders and tackle prey that should be too big. They respond well to fruit flies and D. hydei for L1 and L2 only. You will need small house flies starting about L3 or so. Mine took blue bottle flies well before adulthood.

Thanks guys :)

I don't really care about Thesprotia because the ooths I was given popped out 12 nymphs (on Halloween) and since that day they have already molted into 3rd instar (so 12 days, two molts for some) - I'm fine with that.

But the other species... I'm kinda curious about their ooths - I hear they need a mild diapause, cuz otherwise they won't hatch.
