T1 Carolina Mantids

Hey guys I have about 40 Carolina nimphs and they love their fruit flies but what is the next stage feeder for them I want to be prepared for their first shed. They have a cross section moss stick setup with moss substrate so I want something easy for them to catch.

They will eat D. melanogaster at L2, D. hydei, too probably. At L3 you might want to switch them to D. hydei even though I think they may still take D. melanogaster. "T1", is that a typo? You mean L1?

Fruit flies. You may be able to move them up to Hydei and then on to house flies and finally to things like small crickets, roaches, and bluebottle flies.

I did mean L1 stupid auto correct lol awesome well I am thinking about once these mantis get grown to buy a larger mantis but I dont know which one to get
