Tachinid flies

Hi all,

Can mantises take down giant tachinid flies? I caught two of them today and wondering if they are OK to feed. Thanks!

Depends on mantis species and sometimes depends on the individual. They will run around like crazy if the flies stress them out. Just put the flies in and see what happens, if it stresses the mantis just take the flies back out.

I have two still in there (I took out one of them, I had 3).. He seems to be interested as he has striked at them, but no luck yet.
