I received a Taiwan Flower Mantis (Acromantis Formosana) ootheca from Yen, The other day. Now it has hatched after 3 or 4 weeks. I've counted 50 or so nymphs. This species is so much fun, Because they chase their food down & are very aggressive.

Adult female.

Oh great! always glad to see the ootheca hatching out fine. You are sure a busy dad now Mikhails :D

They need extra misting especially if you see them drinking often. Have fun with these little eating machines :D

Ian,

Will do! ;)

So far all the nymphs are eating & are doing very well. I'll keep this post updated with new info/pictures of their progress.

Congratulations! This is another species I am dying to keep.Keep us updated with how you get on with the nymphs.

First, I want to thank you again Yen!

I've noticed they love water, They drink all the time. I mist them about 3 to 4 times a day, Or when I have the time.

I'll keep this species going for you Yen. ;) Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with this species!
