Hello, I have a chilean rose tarantula that I've had for a couple of months. She's a bout 5 or 6 years old and molted some time two months ago. She's been eating ravenously since her last molt, never going on those fasts that they usually go on (in fact she used to barely eat months leading up to the molt). Anyway, today I went to her tank where she was laying on the ground as normal. I offered her a cricket, but she didn't respond. The cricket even crawled on her leg, to which she didn't care. I moved one of her trees/caves and she did a little threat posture. She's still alive, no split abdomen, yet very lethargic. So lethargic I can gently lift her abdomen or leg off of the ground and she'll keep it there. She's moves barely and her movements look normal. I'm taking the cricket out. I've read that their legs curl under them when they are near death, but her legs aren't curled at all. I'm hoping that she may be about to molt, but I knew 2 months between molts for an adult female tarantula is too short. If anyone has any advice, please help.
