My European mantis just started acting funny, he's moving weird and slipping on about everything, clearly stressed out. He is still a nymph so he will probably grow it back but he is having a hard time hanging upside down(he is laying flat against the top using his raptoral front claws to hang). He was clearly interested in a fly that went across his Vision but struggled to try and get it while hanging upside down. I can try handfeeding but I'm pretty scared that he will mismolt. Thanks for any response!

Forgot to add the most important part. It looks like the tarsa has been clipped in half...

Well he mismolted to no suprise of mine. I tried to help by putting less thin of mesh... he is oddly bent and I'm not sure I can do much to help... not a good start to the day

Sorry to hear that.  Hopefully he's able to make it, but I know that is a tough situation.  The missing tarsus could be due to it getting caught in the mesh or something like that.
