Well after almost 6 months of caring for a prey mantis that my 7 year son caught, a insect team death match last night resulted in the cricket piercing the body of the pray mantis. This did not result in death but rather a mantis this morning still crawling around with all his inners hanging out. My poor son was devastated and so is dad. Oh well time to search the garden for another new pet.
