The wild side

OK so I finally walked on the wild side I bought 2 dubia roaches today ( and dont say it out loud cause my hubby dont know ) and fed to the adult mantid I have. I have to say ewwwwww they lay flat and are hard to see in enclosure and they can run like heck did I say ewwwwwww but an adult chinese is eating one and they other I assume the female griffin ate cause I cant see it anymore oh and did I say ewwwwwwwww

I have several thousand roaches of different species and while my larger chinese mantis will eat them if tong fed my smaller flower mantises and ghosts won't even touch newborn roaches. I think they just prefer softer bodied flying insects.
