I came home today to see that my male Rhombodera valida molted to what should be either presub or subadult, at first glance he was perfect, but noticed what appeared to be the end of his digestive tract still stick to the molt. Anybody have this happen before and will I have to try and find a male?

Do you have any photos? Normally when molting they actually will also molt part of the digestive tract (when they are hanging from their abdomen). Are you saying some of this was incomplete or is the old exoskeleton still attached?
