I was checking my female mantids and on the should of one of my creobroter nebulosa female and noticed there was a tiny blue bubble .I think she was injured or something and wonder if this is something to be majorly concerned about or will this heal up and just hope she does not die from this little injury.I have no idea how she got this injury but anyone ever had this sort of thing happen to their mantids?

Cant say i have every seem this before. Can you post a pic?

Well I would take a picture but it looks as if that blue bubble that I seen is gone and cant get her to stand still as she seems to rather run away then stand for the camera but I will take a picture if anything worse should happen but i think it could of happened when i tried to breed her with one of my males and she did not take too kindly to being ridden and well I am going to give her little time to heal and what not for now!I think the nebulosas might also have a skittish tendency or nervousness about them!

Sometimes males can puncture the females abdomin when trying to mate. I have actully lost females this way. I would not worry though. It has only happened rarely.

Not going to worry unless she is in her enclosure and void of life and so far nothing tragic so i think it was just a rare thing and my problem is I am so impatient and try to breed them way to early and guess need to let it be at least 2 or more weeks to try again on breeding!
