Okay sooo Im having the same toruble than agent, the only dif is that mine got injured 2 molts away, whn he got sticked to a piece of diurex andlost a claw, one leg and well, lets just say he was pretty bad, after the last molt, he got his leg back BUT the claw was still broken. He molted lastnight again and its impossible for him to feed himself, the claws are the double of the average size (im guessing the dead skin sticked to the claws) and well i have to feed him cricket by cricket...

any suggestions?

Im also scared he is kinda blind, he can never see the crickets and when i try to hold him up on my fingers he just gets in a defensive position :S he doesnt jump nor run... he doesnt even walk... unless he has to go up the cup

here is a pic:

Benig all his climbing legs appear to be okay. He may be able to fix his front legs in the next moult. Your just going to have to hand feed him untill his next moult. Good luck!

Fixed the pic for ya. You can hand feed him if he can't hold the food and then hope it corrects on next molt.

Thank you!!! both of you!

I feed him 4 mini crickets today and seems to be filling him up, I just finished giving him his fourth, in fact.

thought raptorial arms were the only thing that cant be regenerated on mantises

Well in the last 2 molts he got new claws and a brand new leg :D Hope the next molt make him stronger

Wow I am amazed at his strenght! And your devotion!
:p Thank you!, He ve always been a lil figther and well, its not about devotion, Its just unhuman (as the only living beings with concience ) to leave him like that and just dont care... I realise that sometimes natural selection or the idiot elimination - as my father likes calling it- takes part of it, but well, I choose to keep them and they are obviously my responsability.

Also, Its kinda fun... instead of watching TV on my free time (as Im in a lucky position where I dont have to work, and I barely have responsabilities) I enjoy watching them and playing with them. : D

AND it was kinda my fault he had all this problems... while leaving the cup open and grabbing crickets to feed him, He jumped and got sticked to a piece of diurex... lol
