tiny white spot

today on my male gambian adult i noticed a very small white dot on its back as i think it could be either from a spore or maybe powdery mildew but wonder if anyone had this happen to any of their mantids and did it do any harm or anything as i dont want to harm my mantis trying to get the spot off of it.I can wash the same spots off my tank with just a brush but dont think i can remove it off the mantis as easily!The spores seem to probably come off some tiny sticks i am using as perches for them other mantises to climb on and use and just wonder if I need to worry any!

some people say they microwave their sticks, maybe try that instead of just using them.

I have never heard of a spore or anything like it attaching itself to a mantis. Just try to wipe it off.

well i managed to wipe if off despite the mantis not liking being touched with a q-tip but managed to get the spot off of it!
