I have two adult females which molted like 5 days ago or more and are they ready to mate? I have placed my male so he could pick their scent or see them. He gets scared of them, he'd go back to my hand and refuses going back in his rack "plastic shoe box tall". He havent eaten since 3 days ago. He molted last week.

I think i'd wait two week if they are ready.

Here's pictures enjoy! :D

That's my male

Most breeders would probably suggest that you wait until your male and females have been adults for about two weeks before mating them. At that time, see if one (or both) of the females is "signalling", raising her tail and releasing pheromones. Make your breeding attempt in the evening and try placing the female in front of the male, making sure that she sees him, rather than placing the male behind the female which may startle her. I'm sure, though, that everyone has his/her own technique that they swear by.

It is really unfortunate that you only have one male and two females (girls, Rebecca dear!) since the females of this species don't always take well to mating.

On the bright side, your females may well still be fecund two-three weeks afteryour sub males eclose. In nature, the lazy female sits around on a summer evening squirting her pheromones into the air and waiting for males to court her. It is not a bad strategy to introduce a female into a net cube containing several males (not the other way around) and let nature take its course. Finally, let the pair separate naturally, even if it takes several days. Some observers claim that the male remains on the female to prevent other males from mating with her, but why take the chance?

Please let us know how yr efforts work out! :D

+1 to the above post. Fatten the females first if you want to give it a go. Also, the male running away means he's not ready just yet.
