hey I'm danielle. I am a relatively new mantid  owner I started out with a dead leaf, then I got an orchid as a gift, then I got a sheild mantis and a Chinese. my orchid died I think due to the housing he was given to me in, my chinese mantis was in 3rd or 4th molt and I thought he was fine but he drowned in a large drop of water the other two are happy and healthy but the dead leaf is in his final size so yes this is my collection

Beautiful! Welcome to the forum! If you haven't already, you need to put mesh on the bottom of that lid so the mantis has grip to hang on to.

Welcome @daniell! You were right to come here. 

As @MantisGirl13 said, install something on the inside of that lid. If you dont, it could mismolt.

Also.make sure it has room to molt. 3X it's length vertical height minimum, and unobstructed.

Show us the rest of the enclosure. Is there adequate ventilation beyond the holes in that lid?  Thats not enough on it own.
