i caught a couple centipedes and they are tiny. inch maybe a lil longer. found them under some leaves and dont know how to care for them. help would be great!
I've caught a few tiny centipedes too. What color are they? Wild caught centipedes are really hard to take care of. The longest that lived for me was a red centipede, it lasted 3 weeks. I think most centipedes eat insects. Mine would only eat soft bodied insects. From my experience they needed alot of humidity, about 60%.
For housing, I just used the soil I found them in and i placed alot of rocks and wood pieces. They need alot of places to hide during the day and they come out at night to find food. Well for me this is what I did.
Keep at least one section of the soil damp at all times, they can dry out very quickly. They'll eat small inverts including worms, isopods and crickets. Good luck!
