It'd be so cool if mantids actually teamed up to take down some bigger prey, like if a mating pair stayed together like a couple and shared their food. You wouldn't have to worry about the female Eating the male and you could feed them bigger stuff or if little nymphs worked together like a pack of wolves atleast until they were big Enough to make it on their own so that more of them would survive, it would be awesome.

I've seen my Heterochaeta do it till they almost chewed their own arms off! I don't trust it at all. :no:

These guys were going at it for a while so I took the lid off and grabbed the camera. That's how long they were doing it. :taz:

I have a group of 6 that are just starting to molt to L5 (I think). Should have at least one mated pair in the bunch. You'll hear about it if I do.
