Unidentified adult male Creobroter Wild Caught from California

Very interesting if true. Any way to verify the claim? The picture is definitely taken in captivity.

 
I found a dead pictipennis in front of my house once. It was right after a bug sale so i assume thats where it came from.

I do not know. Maybe just one person saw it caught from the wild. All I know is what the person "KelseyEvans-Layng" on Project NOAH wrote in her comment in response to my comment. She said that it was in the wild. It does look like from the excelsior that the mantis is captive bred and the person is lying to me. But it is very likely that the person has kept mantids before and has excelsior at hand for mantises even if she does not know very much about mantises.
