Unusual weather of 2012

I am just wondering how all this bizarre weather were having of late is going to really affect the mantis and other populations of insects with below normal and cold nights and cooler daytime temps! Its just not going to be that much of normal weather in Michigan as it looks!Especially when I am ordering a few mantis ooths to put outside to hatch but dont know if it is going to be a good idea or not looking at the weather outlook!

i was wondeing that too! it's really fluctuating. Luckily i saved about 5 chinese ooths to release in my yard

last year during december it was colder than normal.

well in michigan the weather is cooler then usual in april!

Yeah - my brother lives in Michigan (still), and said a number of different "blossom festivals" had to make alterations because of the WARM weather. Now the COOL weather could present a new set of complicatios. Yikes!
