Hi all. Finally got my laptop back, so no more Ipod. Just wanted to say that I'm still mantis-less as I await my I. oratoria and M. religiosa ooths to hatch. I've left them outside since they were laid, so hopefully all will be well. My only source of company so far is a rose hair tarantula but, she's kinda the worse company you can have. By the way, love the new format thingy for the site.

Glad to see that you're up and running again, Mantidlord. How's that Chilean Rose tarantula doing, BTW? Did you ever get it sexed (it has to be a female!)?

Thanks, she's doing fine. I bought some crix for it yesterday. But of course she hasn't eaten any yet. I'm pretty sure it's a female, judging by some of the online resources that I read about sexing tarantulas. I"ll post some pics of the underside as well.

Hope these help. Putting it on the glass was the only way to get a good pic.

By the way, anyone know when I can expect my ooths to hatch? Also, I'm thinking about buying some T. sinensis ooths, but I don't know when they're supposed to hatch.

And ignore the dates, they're dead wrong.
