Finally took some new pictures of my guys.

This is a picture of him when he was a newborn. About 1/4" long. This is about two months ago?

And here are some pictures of my L5 male.

Had to split the post up (too many photos)...

Thanks Ian! I love trying out my new camera. Hard to get those shots so focused.

Speaking of which, for those wondering, it was done with a stock lense (18-55 mm) on a Digital Rebel XTi Canon on Macro mode.

Thanks. The last time the Ghosts molted (about a week ago, so the pictures are good), I decided it was time to move them from D. Hydei (Gold variety) to baby crickets. I figured the crickets must be 10X the body mass of the FF's, so it was so exciting for me to see them both catch the crickets in their enclosure and begin to eat them. I came back in an hour and both crickets were gone, with no scraps left on the floor! Now, I wonder how long I can go until I feed them again. I think I'll wait five days. I don't want their guts to rupture! Just a couple instars ago they would NOT go anywhere near the crickets because they were too afraid of them, so this is good progress methinks!

Also, the lone Cryptic Mantis has molted since the pictures. Not much size difference, but the limbs are becoming more robust and the head has a visible little "horn" characteristic of the Unicorn Mantis. Will post progress when there are more visible differences!
