Violins are the worst mantis ever to incubate for me...

I heard 4-5 diffrent way of the method for incubate a Violin mantis.

At now I m using 70-80 % humidity , 27-28 C and spraying 4-5 x a week - I m spraying directly on the ooths, is that fine ?

I heard that they could be keep without of spraying in dry places but its hard to belive for me couse now I ve got Gongylus philicum from India ( area where Gongys has been found have 80-90 % humidity and 35-45 C )

I've had them hatch almost bone dry, in well ventilated cages, with no spraying. I've never had an EASIER species to breed or hatch (well, ghosts were pretty easy, too). I also had them blistering hot - 105f for a high. I think hot and dry for these guys and you're golden!

I am keeping mine at about 105 maybe a little warmer at times.... my girls are laying an ooth every 6 days faithfully, and i have been lucky enough to get a breeding in between each laying! I have removed the ooths and put them in cups and incubating at about 90-95, I am not spraying them but, i added some moss in the bottom of the cup and have been wetting that every few days.... I thought humidity was a must even with these guys as they like a bit when they breed. I think they have been very easy to breed,(once finding the right temps) i hope i don't mess up the ooths.. :)
