waiting to molt

hello again! i have a male (i think its male) Hierodula membranacea that was injured. and has been unale to eat much.his abdomen is quite small. also his hind leg is missing a foot/hook so he cant hang very well. been waiting on a molt for over a month assuming thats why he wont eat. id love to hear any thoughts? ive been force feeding him a mixture of banana and honey

Give him soft insects with their heads crushed and put it to his mouth. He should take that.

That mantis is about to molt to adulthood. Stop bothering him, he won't eat until after the molt. Make sure he has a mesh lid and grippy sticks in the cage, as well as at least 4" to hang.
