just wondered how big they grow?

how often and what they eat?

how hard they are to keep? (i.e do they die easily)

what temps/humidity to keep them at?

and if anyone knows any singular prices?

thanks

joel

They are a medium sized species- a little over 2 inches. I feed them every other day as nymphs or 3 times a week for adult males and every day for females, or more often in one looks hungry. They are very easy to keep. You can keep them in temps of 75-85 degrees and I keep them in 70% humidity. A good price would be around 15 dollars for a nymph. You can find them (i think) at mkjurassic.com and mantisplace.com

unfortunately it might be a little hard for him to buy ghosts from the sites The_Asa recomended, as he is in the UK lol :p

good uk sites included http://www.insectstore.com/, http://www.bugzuk.com/, http://www.virginiacheeseman.co.uk/, and http://www.metamorphosis.zookeepers.co.uk/...les/Page266.htm

on topic though: ghosts are a great species to keep, keep the humidity at a reasonably high level, feed every couple of days, only room temperature required, they're one of the best beginner mantids out there, and they're pretty to boot :)

EDIT: bah, i just noticed none of the sites i linked have any Ghost Mantids at the moment :p

The ghosts that I own perfer flying insects and are very easy to keep. So far, out of seven starting ghosts I still have all seven (knock on wood). I mostly keep mine at 80-90F in the day, but drop it to 75F at night. I bought mine from mantisplace.com for 15$ each.

to the OP, if you just want one i would be happy to sell you one. mine are fourth instar.
