Hello everyone! (This is my first post here  )

I have been looking for some Orchid Mantids (Hymenopus coronatus) for quite a while with absolutley no success :( . If anyone has some of these mantises or ooths that they would sell I would greatly appreciate it. Just post or send me a pm. I have no specific price range and will buy several of them or an ooth. I honestly don't expect anyone to have any considering that they basically disappeared from the trade recently, but its definately worth a try.

Thank you

get in line bro.theres a big cue.mad how this species is impossible to get at present.

if i ever get hold of these its the one im going to concentrate on the most..want to breed lots and lots..im after all the flower mantid species..they interest me the most..also idols and violins not to sure about the ghost yet..iv never seen a adult and so far there tiny..i might change my mind when they get bigger.

Good luck..your going to need it..i dont get it?why is this species so hard to get?is it hard to breed or something?

Yeah, most of the large breeders just stopped breeding these as much as they used to. They are semi-difficult to breed because a male will mature and die before a female can even reach adult. Oh well, I'll keep looking, and good luck to everyone else looking for this species. I might start up ghosts though, simply because they look amazing to me, and they are easier to breed than orchids.

Thank you

Who says we stopped breeding them ? ;) And they are really easy to breed once you've got the knack. I'll have plenty again in a few months.

Oh, well thats good to hear. I'm sure that plenty of collectors/breeders, including myself, will be looking forward to seeing these again. I wish you the best of luck with all of your mantids.

im sure if u have 2 ooths that where laid 1 month apart mayby the timing would work out then so u could keep the females from the 1st ooth and males from 2nd.?thats my plan any way..i have lots of room and lots of time..soon as i get this species or should i say IF, im going to do by best to breed them like rabits.
