Hi guys! We lost one of our Chinese mantids last night. I'm not even sure what happened. He was hanging from the top but only by one leg. Maybe a molt gone bad???
He was not one of our pet mantids. But it upset me, nonetheless.
We raised 247 Chinese from the time they hatched until present. They should be adults within the next month. Out of all of them, we only lost 2 until last night. And we lost both of them as an L2 and a bad molt. I had hoped we were out of the bad molt stage.
We received a ghost ooth on April 10th. I spoke with the seller about another issue and he told me at that time that my ooth was "fresh". It has yet to hatch. Should I give up? Or wait?
