Well, after a haitus, it feels good to be back among so many familiar faces. I stopped mantiskeeping about a year and a half ago, for various reasons, but am now in a position to resume keeping my little alien friends.
And not just resume as a hobby, but as a necessesity: The house my wife and I have moved into is infested with spiders, ants, skeeters, and weevils. Chemical controls aren't an option for me, and here is where hobby dovetails with health.
I've orderd 4 budwing, and one Mendica to clean up the "hood". Hopefully, but releasing them into different rooms (But locking them up at night), I will be able to control the critters in my house, while ensuring that my little friends have a well rounded diet.
