Hi everyone,
For winter break, I went to New Jersey to visit some relatives. But in the dumbest move ever, I forgot all of my ooths in my dorm. So for a whole month, I was wondering if my nymphs hatched and hoping that some of them would survive. Well, last night I come home, and check the ooths. Thank God, nothing hatched! Then I was a little worried, thinking that they may never hatch. I go to dinner, and come back to find three S. californica nymphs hatched out, welcoming me home. This ooth was given to me by Rick who mated a my male with Agent A's female and he sent one of the ooths to me. Thanks Rick! This morning I find that about 7 or 8 more hatched out and just now, one S. carolina nymph hatched from its ooth. I'll take some iphone pics and post them up. But I'm just incredibly lucky that they decided to hatch the day I get back!!
