It was about a month and a half ago I made the trip down to see Albert to get 5 L2 griffins and 3 L2 majusculas. Today I scared the bejeebus out of my mom by updating her on them (She wasn't ready for the size difference lol). First pic is an L2 P. griffinii on the day after I got them, and the second pic is a subadult male now.

I started raising mantids at the end of October. little over 2 months ago. I got these guys on my second trip to mississauga which was about 2 weeks after the first. so a month and a half is my best estimate.

pretty sure the griffin is female
This one is def male. The males have a small notch too, but females are much more pronounced now. At L6 it was harder to tell, but the males wingbuds are significantly bigger than the females now since the males are sub and the females presub at L7.
