Well, my Chinese L6...is not an L6... she's an adult! What the..? I though she was gonna be a sub and I wake up to fine full wings... well 1 full wing. Anyway, I'm glad she molted, but one of her back legs crippled and one of her wings crinkled. I doubt she needs those as a necessity now, but when breeding comes, will the male hurt her because of the missing wing. (ie when he mounts, his raptorial arm goes into the side).

Thanks

As you get more experienced you will be able to tell better the stage they are at. The wing won't be a concern.

Okay, yeah, when I think about it, she molted once at the pet store, molted four times in the deli container, and now 3 times in new container i keep her in. So it perfectly adds up to L8 stage. As long as the wing poses no concern then I'm fine and dandy. And as for the leg, i guess i cant really do anything. My other concern is, she is about 2/3 the size of my wild male (maybe a bit larger).

All should be OK. :) Just wait 2-3 weeks to put them together, and hope for the best. It's really all you can do. Congrats on her molting to adult! ;)
