What color will they be?

I have two what I think are chinese mantids. I know they vary in color when adults. Both the mantids are brown- will they keep that color in adulthood? Or will they change to more green or some other color? If they do change color, when will it happen?

Depends. They usually stay brown but I have seen green ones

Some friends and I had three ooths that hatched. Mine all stayed brown, but my friends have some green ones, varying from greenish tinge or bright green. I personally wish I had their green ones lol

In South Korea the Tenodera aridifolia or sinensis are mostly green.

I looked where there was a lot of tall grass. I remember I found a brown female on a small tree.
