my mantis had a bad molt yesterday and its wings are all jumbled and bent

what should i do?

cut the winges or just let it be?

I'd leave the wings alone. They don't get in the way of its walking, right?

I have a mantis that was injured during shipping and lost 3 of her walking legs...so she had a bad final molt and her wings are a tangled mess. She has been getting along fine otherwise.

If you do decide to cut them anyway, I would wait at least couple of days after the molt to make certain that they do not contain any blood/fluid used to pump up the wings.

Can you post a picture?

Leave it alone for several days. After that if you want to trim the wings you can but I would just let them be.
