Went to make my coffee this am, and opened the cuppoard to get water pitcher and found this floating in it right before I went to pour it in the coffee pot, can't imagine pouring it in and not seeing it, before long I would have very bad rotton coffee and not even know why..... :ninja:

The first thought when I see the image of it thru the plastic was it was a superworm squirming around, but when I looked at it, (after squirming some myself) I seen it was a catipillar, what is this thing and how did it get in the cubboard?

ps... Coffee anyone?

A post that goes in a different forum. '

In all seriousness, more clear pics would help ID it.

gee, u guys are to funny, Now, who's bringing me coffee tomorrow?

I can do better pic, the mama mantis ate it, and when she was done, there was a dime size black wet spot under where she ate it, yuck.

I just can't see how it got in there, if a moth laid it, wouldn't it have more than one? ok, no one answer that, I don't wanna know!

pss, that's the best pic I got! it was over an inch long.

I know! I know! It's a horrible coffee ruiner! You might want to throw away the rest of that coffee though, just in case there are eggs in it. We have a terrible Indian Meal Moth infestation from a few caterpillars that were in a bag of birdseed. They hatched in the house and now they are everywhere. We've had them for like two years now but can't call the exterminator because that would be harmful to the mantids. They have ruined at least two 20-pound bags of rice, about three bags of flower, tea, coffee, cookies, and just about everything else imaginable. :helpsmilie:

Bottom line is, you might want to switch to a different brand of coffee.
