What's up with these survey links popping up all over?

Just wondering what these are for and if anybody else is getting them. One actually showed up in the body of a pm I was just sending. Any ideas what or why?

Sounds like a spam program on your computer. Once I noticed I was seeing strange banners instead of invertebrate banners on websites and found out it was a program on my computer replacing them. It's hard to believe the programming would be worth it.

I agree with Orin, it sounds like you've got a local beastie. I've not seen anything matching your description. I recommend Microsoft's free "Security Essentials" product to help protect your system if you're browsing from a Windows PC.

It was some "extension" that I just deleted. All good now. Thanks

It's a good idea for anyone using IE to download Security Essentials. Microft's browser is victim to all sorts of invasive stuff at this time of year, and since it's dedicated to blocking holes in Microsft security, the program works very well. It may not come up immediately after installation though, so if not, activate it from the Start button and run a scan and then schedule it to run silently like your anti virus program.
