hello fellow mantis fans. I always thought praying mantises were pretty bad ###### so last year i caught a large female chinese mantis. I had her up until around thanksgiving until she died and it bummed me out but she entertained alot of people. she layed a few egg cases but unfortinatly they were infertile. I found a baby unknown mantis in my backyard a few days ago not sure what is is. its alittle bit bigger then my thumb nail and i managed to get it to eat some very small imature crickets i caught in my garden. Im just nervous about all the molting stages as ive read they can be dangerous if they fall or you try to feed them or handle them. I was wondering if there are any signs to look for so ill know not to mess with it when its molting.
