i am getting a pair of chinese mantids sub-adults real soon and when i do get them to mate and if they lay any ooths when could i place them in storage or cold storage for when i want to hatch them out next year or would it be too soon to put a ooth into some sort of storage arrangement!

If you get ooths and dont want them to hatch you can put them in the fridge or if it is winter just stick them outside.

You really need to know where it came from and how long it has been sitting out. If you get it from somewhere that has not had it in cold storage, to put it back in will probably kill the babies. Find out first.

actually it will come from me i am getting a pair of chinese mantids from abuggin prob going to be sub adults first then i will raise them to adults and try to breed them after i give them a few weeks and if they happen to mate and lay a ooth thats what i wonder how to store for the next season!

I told you in the first reply. If you dont' want it to hatch put it in the fridge or for your location I would put it outside.
