I was just on our forum front page and noticed that there were 87 people on right now! I do not believe I have ever seen that before! How exciting! :D Wonder what they are all reading and what :scooter: brought them here.

Give us a post here to let us know! B)

The number increased to 96. Looks like there are people who are interested in mantids.

I'm here to check up and read new/old threads.

What brought me here is the interest in mantids that we all have in common. I've been catching them and keeping them for some time now, but not on such a serious level. This place, along with UKMF, have brought me to where I am today... A dude who keeps many mantids and breeds them.

Hibiscusmile (or anyone who has been here a long time), when did you start noticing the huge increase in the number of visitors? Has this forum ever had this many visitors?

On the bottom of the board index page there are some stats.

It says Most online: 153.

I like to click the online list to see what members and visitors are looking at.

Sometimes, I find some cool old topics that way.

I can from the interstellar galactica mismolt phasma world of junator. I am 1 of the 153, lol.

So it was a combo of interest in mantids and Mantisplace that got most of you guys here? Different strokes, I guess. When I first looked at this site, I saw Superfreak's pic and decided that this was the forum for me. :D

Peter was the one that pointed me here, when I found my Chinese too normal and got some Gongy from him. And yeah I can't believe all the new members lately, there coming out of the woodwork, lol.

I think that this is a seasonal thing as folks find adult local males attracted to light and females slowed down by the need for ooth laying. This is also the time for fresh ooths, too.
