First of all if this is not in the right section mods please move it to where it needs to be...

Well anyhoo I was just wondering what the heck you guys do with all ur nymphs. I know there are alot of species that are not allowed to be released into the U.S., so after all the babies hatch what do you do with all of them?

As far as I know most female mantids exotic or not will lay around 3 + or - ooths. Since most species will eat eachother, you'd have to buy/make a seperate container for each and every one of them. Considering on average in my mind most species will hatch atleast 20 or so, and yes I know there are others that don't......Do you sell them all, because what if ya can't? So yea I was just wondering what you guys do, because I have 2 soon 3 ooths from my female stagmomantis which is native so I just plan to let go 90% of them. This got me thinking of what I will do when I get some exotics......

Yeah! Well most times we seperate them only when we have to so some do get ate! And some we sell, and some we keep as breeders and some we give away and I give up!

Love them...feed them...never leave them... :p

No, either sell, give away, or they may die off too quick for you to do either of the former.

I keep them together until I have about ten left. Many die or get eaten by others. I take my ten left and sell them or keep them. You will never have that many that survive.
