:) I'll reinstate the "thank you new supporters" post from now. LOL...you think I should charge supporters fifteen bucks? I only picked 13 as a membership fee because it was $0 the previous year. Which reminds me...I do need to go through and hit up some of the expired supporter accounts.

I am one of them. I was actually kind of upset that I got an email telling me it was trying to charge my card but it was expired. I did not realize my card info was saved.

Yep, I got the very same email as Rick, and I wasn't too pleased either. There should not be any auto enroll or saving card info.

+1

I do remember that with the paypal options it was a drop down menu for auto-repayments or you could choose once off. It was just set to auto by default, you should read what you pay for :p .

Generally I do. I am very careful about that. That is why I was upset.

I believe it was our latest Forum Supporter who mentioned to me that they were only able to select "subscription" as a purchasing option. When I originally set it up, I thought I set it up to where a person had a choice about paying for a single year or "subscribing". I don't believe the terms of subscription were anything less than obvious, but the time passes and we all forget. I finally removed that requirement about two weeks ago, though I know it bothered some people (who read the terms of purchase beforehand) off and on the previous year because a few chose not to subscribe after asking me about it. So, though it is not supposed to be an option anymore, I will miss the auto-renew feature of the subscription package that previous supporters voluntary chose. I will have to go in now and manually remove the green next to peoples' names, though this is preferable to people being upset.

I'm sure I read it and declined the auto renew, which would be why it didn't go through, not that won't renew it's just that I like to have the choice either way is all. It's money well spent to help out for me, I for one thank you Peter for keeping the forum running!
