Does anybody know where to buy nymphs or ooths in Malaysia? BTW I live in Selangor and I don't have a problem traveling around Peninsular Malaysia

Do you ever see any wild mantids there?

Yeah, I've seen a few Tropidomantids Tenera in my house. My house is packed with Tropidomantid ooths. I am currently keeping two tropidomantid ooths in a container :lol: . There are also a lot of Ant Mantids here. My friend caught around 15 ant mantids but he didnt have any containers of any sort so he had to use cups, therefore ten of them got away. I am currently keeping three of them. He offered to give me all because he had no food to give the nymphs but I had to refuse because my dad said I had too many :blink:

Collin and I found 2 tripidomantis oothecas today.

according to my relatives who lives in Malaysia, Tenodera sp. are very common in areas with long grass. Malaysia is filled with many mantids, have you tried asking locals at areas like Ipoh, Penang, Cameron hill etc to go on collecting trips?
