trying to remember which mantis species if any lays the ooth that looks like a sponge and is green!

actually the ooth does not look anything like that one if I remember it did not have any real definite shape to it but it just looked like a piece of sponge and was green in color

Hi massaman,Maybe you mean Cilnia humeralis or Hestiasula wuyishana?

regards Marius
What a guy! Fisherman (Luke) showed some pix of several H. wuyishana ooths back in January (4th), in "Why does the same female produce ooth of different colors?" and several similar posts. The taxon is cited as being named by Yang et Wang, 1999, but that's all I know about it. Didn't you breed this, too, Yen?

The search also pulled up a reference from 2007 by Idolomantis to "Toumantis ermhani that looks long and gull og bubles and other weird stuff." I imagine that the genus is a typo for Taumantis, but is T. ermhani in culture, Idolo?
