White poop.

I noticed that my mantis poop is white. It use to be dark brown. Is this a sign that she may be dehydrated? I think she is going to molt soon and don't want her to be dehydrated. Also, I have read some threads about dehydration and they talk about misting the mantis. Are thay talking about misting directly on the mantis? I thought this was a no-no.

I spray them right in the face, and they dont mind. Lol

White poo is good poo.

In the wild, mantids survive humidity of nearly 100%, rain and storms, so a little spraying won't hurt them.

White may be urea. Normal either way. MIsting the mantis directly is fine. What do you think they do when it rains? You don't have to mist them directly but it won't hurt anything.

Do you think it is a good idea to mist her right before she molts?

Before is ok to mist normally just don't mist during the molt. It could end up getting them stuck in their skin.
