ok my female chinese just laid a ooth and when I took the ooth out and looked at the mantis I noticed some white stuff on the end of her abdomen and dont know if it could be maybe some dried ooth that stuck to her or I think it could be a spermatophore or whatever you call it and wonder if this is something that happens after any ooth layings or just a rare occurance or something more serious!

It is just some of the dry "foam" from the ooth. Perfectly normal and happens to all of them. Nearly all of the wild females I find this time of year have some and that tells me they have already laid at least one ooth.

ok she has some more of this dried ooth stuff on her backside and its like hardened now and problem is the mantis wont let me get close enough to remove the dried foam from her rear end and wonder what to do if it will interefere with any other ooths or would it be squeezed off her when she makes another ooth if she does manage to!

As Rick and Katt suggested, it is normal and you don't need to do anything. In nature, there would be no one to scrub her butt. :D
