Why is my mantis sitting on the bottom of the tank?

One of my african mantids has been spening the last few days sitting on the bottom of the tank... looking at the abdomen it has been eating its food... but its still sitting at the bottom of the tank hardly moving...

any thoughts?

Africans do that often. Its normal for them.
