My majuscula has been extremely pregnant for over a month. She's mated twice and is wider than an adult female Cilnia humeralis. Even people who've had their majuscula molt to adult and mate after mine have had their ooths laid. Does anyone know whats wrong??

maybe she is eggbound

my recommendation is to give her a change of scenery, put some organic soil in a cup and put it in a net cage with her, give her plenty of surfaces to lay on, raise humidity and temp, if possible open windows for better airflow, it's how i uneggbinded my oxy female

or let her be free range on a big houseplant ;)

I wish I would've known to do something like this for my godzilla sized budwing girl, :\ The only advice I got was, 'it happens'

The best of luck!

Add twigs from outside. I'm almost convinced it is mandatory....but what do I know? Lol

I knew my female needed to lay, but refused until I added some twigs from a dead ficus. Once added, she when right to work.

Twigs, I think they are needed.

Im assuming by your sadface, you didnt want her to lay there? After it hardens completely, spray the part of ootheca that is connected to the net with warm water and let it soften a little, then slowly and carefully peel it away. (you can use a butterknife or blunt untencil to pry it off, be careful if you do this though, you want the amount of ootheca left over to ber very minimal)
