went in the bug she this morning to find my creobroter gemmatus ooth has hatched. (my favorite species)

i've been quite unlucky with hatch rates lately so im really excited. the nymphs are so cute

theres only about 12 so far. i hope more pops out! it was a big ooth.

i thought they take 6 weeks to hatch? these hatched in 4 weeks :)

You're really stuck on the idea of mating them again prevents low hatch rates aren't you? rofl

You can read about people having hatch rates of 100s in this species, but just as people have high hatch rates some have low it's nature don't expect anything they're not controllable in this way plus it's not like it didn't hatch at all. ;D

i just saw it as the female didn't get enough sperm or something so she won't have much sperm stored inside her so all her hatch rates will be low. i dunno ha :)

separated the nymphs today into separate cups and i was wrong.

there was 21 nymphs! more must of hatched. i couldn't of missed that many haha.

do they have a high survival rate? just wondering so i know whether to sell a few.
