What the :!: `s going on, ive had flower mantid nymphs for ages then all of a sudden the healthiest, eldest one just dropped dead, then that afternoon so did another one a molt behind, now i know this happenes to small nymphs all the time but these are well established nymphs!!!

And just had a look at my only surviving giant asian nymph from an ooth i had a while back and hes dropped dead!

Thier all medium sized nymphs, though the giant asian is a 3rd instar, so what the hells going on? no casulties for ages then 3 come up at once

I'm afraid to say, 3rd instar is still a small nymph. Random deaths continue to occur even in later instars and adults. The mortality rates are lower as the mantid ages, but does not disappear. Sorry to hear of your losses!
