Caught some Yellow Jackets eating meat. No, I didn't feed these to my mantids or other bugs, these guys are way too awesome to sacrifice.

They are amazing pictures! You've made me want to update my DSLR camera even more now! Beautiful!

 
I've seen those things eat a live mantis before. Mantis was old and weak though.

 
I have a Pentax K110D. It's a few years old and I really need to update because it only has 6 megapixels! lol, it's like a dinosaur!
That camera is more than capable of shots like these.....

What lenses? glass is 100% more important than the camera. All it is is a box to hold the lenses after all.

I have a Pentax K200d and Pentax K-7.

I have SMC Pentax DA lenses. The one I use for macro stuff is 18-55mm, but I also have a 50-200mm for those stalking your weird and/or hot neighbor moments

Well than you need to invest in some nice lenses...

I've got something like 20 lenses currently :D
