Yes!! Caught a male!

It's been a year, but the native Chinese mantids are returning to my area, and today I caught a male. Females are far more common where I live, so I'm halfway to starting my own colony.

I have him in a relatively large plastic fishtank, with some driftwood set up for him to climb on. He's doing okay, except for the **** that he has yet to touch his food (small crickets, possibly too small).

Anything I should know?

Adult males typically don't eat much. If he doesn't eat for two weeks, you can begin to be concerned. 8)
