sorry about the title of the thread, i dont know the official name. but yeh i just thought, nobodys really mentioned it. so did any of you go? what was it like? what did you get? etc. just curious, i didnt have the chance to go. so yes, pray tell.

i regret not buying more stuff now.

oh, and on the way home from a random garden centre - i bought a pitcher plant!

those are lovely. i went to a couple of bug shows a few years ago and always regretted not buying more, but i just didnt have the money! one thing is seeing stuff on a computer screen and deciding you dont have the money or dont need them, its completely different when you can actually see and hold them and have to walk away for one reason or another. mind you, i never left a show with any spare money in my pocket :? :wink: :)

ps - i feel a bit intrusive looking at the p.wahlbergi one, she looks like she's... going to the toilet, as it were :D

 
I thought it was a good day but agree livestock was a bit thin on the ground. I was hoping to pick up some new mantids but there was nothing exciting there. More T's and butterflies than anything....and plenty of dried stuff of course! It is the first time though and the organisers are hoping it will improve over the next couple of years so we need to support it while it grows if we want it to develop. Its a nice venue and it would be good to have a decent show in the north of England.

Did anyone take any photos??
